HOW IT WORKS:
NANO does not operate as a PUSH System. Instead NANO uses Mass Flow Regulation
for Bottle Pressure Compensation.
In traditional nitrous systems bottle pressure recovery time is slowed as the bottle
empties. The increasing vapor volume at the top of the bottle takes longer to re-fill and
re-pressurize. In addition, as the nitrous changes from liquid to vapor, a naturally
occurring temperature drop in the bottle, slows the vapor pressure recovery time even
more compounding the problem.
These symptoms become more pronounced as higher hp amounts of nitrous are used and
larger bottles are used.
Traditional Nitrous Facts:
10 lb nitrous bottles are only good for delivering 6 lbs of Nitrous

Problem Statement:
– Vapor pressure recovery time increases as nitrous bottle vapor volume
increases and bottle temperature decreases.
– As nitrous is consumed the nitrous bottle vapor volume increases as the bottle
empties and the bottle temp decreases as the N20 contents turn to vapor.
Solution:
– Keep the Mass Flow Rate of the liquid nitrous oxide consistent throughout the
entire range – that is from the beginning of flow of nitrous oxide liquid to the
very end – full bottle until bottle is empty.

What is a PUSH System? How is the NANO Technology Different?
– Because of initial appearances, some might confuse the NANO Technology
with an earlier technology referred to as a PUSH system. That is not the case.
The PUSH technology was based on increasing the pressure of the nitrous
oxide in the bottle. In short it was a “vapor pressure override system” which
used a capping gas (nitrogen) to push on the liquid nitrous oxide to increase
the column pressure on the nitrous oxide. This technique had problems and
as a result was not accepted well by the racing community.
– The NANO System is based on maintaining the nitrous oxide’s natural rate of
flow (flow of nitrous mass) that normally occurs when a nitrous bottle is full
and is at normal temperature. In a normal nitrous oxide system of course
temperature and pressure is constantly changing. Our system constantly
compensates for the force changes in a nitrous bottle that normally occur due
to these changing pressures and temperatures. We maintain the natural vapor
pressure of the nitrous bottle irrespective of how full or empty the nitrous
bottle is, or what variations in temperature occur within the nitrous bottle.
This constant automatic adjustment is referred to as a “natural pressure vapor
compensation technology.”
